Department of Chemistry
Chemistry is a fundamental discipline, that, on the one hand, tries to reveal the natural laws at the heart of the characteristics of substances at the atomical and molecular level, and on the other hand, through the usage of these data, aims to acquire new products and develop new production techniques. The intersections between sciences like Physics, Biology and Medicine and Chemistry are the areas where significant discoveries emerge. Moving from the definition that Chemistry is an industry producing industry, our Department of Chemistry encourages Pak Turk students with a vein for Chemistry to select fields like biochemistry with forensic science, biotechnology, molecular biology, pharmacology, environmental science, advanced substances and informatics technology where Chemistry holds an important place. Just as its intersection with other sciences produce remarkable results, Department of Chemistry gets into closer collaboration with especially Physics and Biology departments to prepare Pak Turk students to compete with their fellows in Pakistan and worldwide in various local and international project competitions and science Olympiads.
