| Physics Department The Department of Physics at Pak Turk Educational Institutions, in close connection with other science departments, aims to train the future’s physicists who are able to conduct original and advanced research in modern physics and in its applications in high technology. The Department is one of the busiest academic units working under the Pak Turk ICEF’s Directorate of Education and it contributes extensively to preparing students for local and international physics competitions that take place round the year. Sharing an international know-how with the local dynamism, Department of Physics offers the Pak Turk students a very advanced educational and scientific outlook covering all the fields of physics. The computer-aided teaching is conducted in modern laboratories and foreground students’ creativity. Encouraging students for demanding more of the phenomena, Department of Physics joins students to research and project studies to become conscious of the boundaries of science, develop their research abilities and build a background for further studies with an original vista that considers the seen and the unseen realities of the world that we are living in. |
FUTURE PHYSICISTS BAG THE AWARDS Pak Turk Islamabad Branch with the project “Solar Oven” secured the 2nd Position in the All-Pakistan Inter-Board Science Project Competition organized by Federal Board Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE). Organized with an aim to promote a culture of science and research in country, the first round of the All-Pakistan Inter-Board Science Project Competition was held in various cities and the best projects were shortlisted for finals. Islamabad Pak Turk Schools were awarded by the first position in Islamabad on 27 November 2006. The final of the competition took place on 12 December 2006. A large number of students from different educational institutions across the country took part in the competition. Islamabad Pak Turk Schools were one of the three best projects by winning the second position. Students were given their certificates and Rs. 7500 cash prize from the Chairman FBISE Commodore(R) Muhammad Shamshad. |
