On the auspicious occasion of the 84th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Turkish Republic, a group of PakTurk administrators, teachers and students from Islamabad called on His Excellency Engin Soysal, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey  

Primary and Secondary School students presented a number of poems and songs in Turkish which they dedicated to the importance of this significant day. Talha, Class 8 student, recited a poem named “Atatürk ve Cumhuriyet” (Atatürk and Republic). Primary School Choir sang “Cumhuriyet Marşı” (The March of the Turkish Republic) and Secondary School Choir sang the “Onuncu Yıl Marşı” (The March of the 10th Anniversary of the Turkish Republic”  

His Excellency Ambassador of Turkey and the diplomats of the Embassy of Turkey in Islamabad stated their joy and overflowing emotions on having listened to Turkish poetry and national songs from Pakistani students, who virtually ebbed all geographical distances through their effective delivery in spoken Turkish. Congratulating the students and their teachers, the diplomats assured them that they will soon visit PakTurk schools to witness the embodiment of brotherhood and love between Pakistan and Turkey as “Two Countries, One Nation.”  

His Excellency Engin Soysal wished PakTurk students Godspeed by gifting them souvenirs from Turkey.
