All-Pakistan PAKTURK Memoir-Writing Contest 2007 Dear Teachers!
Take a Walk Down Your Memory Lanes and Bring Your Memories Alive!
In line with the forthcoming International Teachers’ Day celebrations on
October 5, PAKTURK ICEF has organized a prize memoir-writing contest
among teachers across Pakistan, encouraging them to write one of their
most significant teaching memories.
A jury of eminent literary-persons will evaluate the entries and the
writer of the winning memoir will be awarded with a cash prize besides
the winning memoir will be posted on
www.pakturk.org The runners-up will be awarded various prizes in
cash and kind.
Contest Rules:
- Memoirs should be written in English or Urdu.
- Memoirs should not exceed three A4-size pages (no back-to-back writing).
- Memoirs should be legibly handwritten or computerized and should bear
the title: MEMOIR-WRITING CONTEST alongside the information: Name of the
Contestant, City/School Branch, Postal Address, Phone Number and E-Mail
at the bottom of the last page.
- All submitted material becomes the property of Pak Turk ICEF.
- Pak Turk International Schools & Colleges is not responsible for any
postage, materials lost in the mail, nor can Pak Turk International
Schools & Colleges return materials to authors.
- Teacher insures that his/her name guarantees that the submitted work is
wholly original and not lifted from any published source.
- All entries to be submitted/sent to PakTurk schools in Islamabad,
Lahore, Karachi, Khairpur Mirs, Multan, Quetta and Peshawar. We wish
outstanding success to all contestants!
