His Excellency Hasan Kemal Gür, Former Ambassador of the Republic of
Turkey to Pakistan
His Excellency Hasan Kemal Gür, Former Ambassador of the Republic of
Turkey to Pakistan, visited the campuses of the Pak-Turk International
Schools’ in Islamabad. Briefed by the school administrators, His
Excellency Gür visited classrooms and conversed with students and
teachers.
Pak-Turk Educational Institutions which render selfless
educational services in Pakistan for more than a decade entertained the
Ambassador at its Islamabad campuses. His Excellency Gür first visited
the Pre-School and Primary Branch, where he was welcomed with flowers by
250 students and the teaching faculty of the school. The mini-function
which was organised in his honour, His Excellency Gür was welcomed with
the national anthems of Pakistan and Turkey, which was followed by the
national songs in Turkish and Urdu performed by the schoolchildren. His
Excellency Hasan Kemal Gür, in his conclusive remarks for the students,
teachers and the educational services rendered by the Pak-Turk
educational institutions, said, “No one can deny the contributions of
the Pak-Turk educational institutions to the strong and cordial
relations between Pakistan and Turkey. Having witnessed that these
institutions have been rendering a very significant and sacred duty as
the bridges of friendship and cooperation made me experience the most
pleasurable moments in the entire period of my diplomatic duty and
service. It is for sure that our nation appreciates the educationists
who serve dedicatedly to the children of Pakistan. The significance of
your services will be regarded further and lastingly in the years to
come. I wish for the continuity of your success.”

His Excellency Gür later visited the Boys and Girls
Campuses of the Pak-Turk International Schools in Islamabad. His
Excellency was briefed on the schools and their social and scientific
facilities. Mr. İsmail Nazlı, Chairman – Country Representative of the
Pak-Turk International Cag Educational Foundation, which auspices the
Pak-Turk educational institutions across Pakistan, said, “In 7 cities of
Pakistan, with a faculty of 250 teachers, we educate almost 3000
students. As the student strength in our schools increase in every year,
we are rather impelled to build our own purpose-built campuses in the
nearest future. By means of such state-of-the art educational
institutions, we will be able to reach more students and also we will be
able to convey the Turkish essence of education as per our synthesis
with the mainstream education in Pakistan.”
After the function, His Excellency Gur visited ongoing classes and
conversed with students and teachers. His Excellency Gur completed his
visit by adding his precious remarks on the Pak Turk Schools’ Book of
Honour.
