Summer Camp in Turkey, 2012

Junior section of PAKTURK Peshawar campus students participate summer camp along with their classmates. During the camp they attended many extra curricular activities and they awarded by teachers with many surprised gifts. Their extracurricular activities as follow;

ARTS CLASS:

The participants had made tissue box holder, a hat and father’s day card in arts class. They have used chart papers, CD, beads and buttons to decorate the crafts. The students had enjoyed a lot in these activities and it also motivates them to come up with more creative ideas.

COOKING CLASS:

Menu of the cooking class was fruity ice cream, cock tail dessert and Russian salad. Students enjoyed a lot while making all the food items. PakTurk had now trained out little chefs.

GROOMING CLASS:

Students were taught practically, the proper way of salad, table manners, behaved communication with courtesy words and cleanliness. Students were shown videos for every topic covered in this class and were given handouts related to the topic to assess their understanding.

Other Co-curricular Activities:

Wearing clothes game:

A gaming competition, in which all types of clothes were kept on a table and the participants were asked to wear maximum number of clothes in a given time with closed eyes. Both boys and girls participated in this game and by the end the girls gave up and quit. One of the participants wins the game and everyone enjoyed a lot.

Coin finding:

The game organizers put some coins in horse grains which the participants had to find in a given time with their eyes closed. Both boys and girls actively participated in the game and one of them won the game.

Finding lemon in yogurt:

With closed eyes, participants of this game had to find lemons in the bowl of yogurt. Both boys and girls participated in this game and the one who find all the lemons in less time was declared winner.

The winners were given gifts in the end which motivates them a lot.
