Pakturk Swept Away All The Biology Projects In The Sindh Province In Intel Science Project Olympiad 2011

Intel Science project Olympiad was held in Karachi on 3rd and 4th of November, in Karachi in which a number of well reputed schools of all the Sindh province presented their projects. PakTurk international schools and colleges Karachi and Khair Pur Mirs presented 7 interesting and informative projects. Three of them were selected for the National Intel Science Olympiad which will be held in January, 2012 in Islamabad.

In Biology branch all projects selected for the national level Olympiad, were belong to PakTurk international Schools and Colleges Karachi and Khair Pur Mirs. Two of the projects were prepared by Boys campus , Clifton Karachi and one from Khair Pur Mirs campus.

List of the selected projects:

1-Removal of rust by using herb
This project won best individual, prepared the student of class VII, Mir Khan under the supervision of his Science teacher, Mr. Abdullah Jan.

2- Prevention of Fruits by using of Grey fruit peal
This project won the best team project, prepared by Osama Kiyani and Sheheryar Khan of Class IX under the supervision of their teacher, Mr. Ahmet Nuri Karahan.

3- Extraction of Metals from Industrial water with the help of Tea waste.
This project also won the best individual project, prepared by, Usama Ahmed Awan of Khairpur Mirs Campus under the super vision of Mr. Muhammad Ali Girgenc. Sweep
