Peshawar—Students of Pak Turk International School and Colleges (PTISC) Raja Saud and Musa Ishaq Paracha grabbed Gold Medals for Pakistan in an International Science and Technology competition held in Georgia. Turk Foundation has been operating its school and colleges system in 120 countries while brilliant students of the system from 99 countries took part in the contest on science and technology.
Principal of PTISC in Peshawar, Serhat Demir in a press conference on Tuesday, said that he had taken two students of his institute in the subject mentioned while one student of PTISC Khairpur in biology competition to Georgia. He said his students had showed their models in the contest and had been glorified with gold medals for their hardwork. The models, the students invented changing colour of a vehicle plying on a colourful way, means that the vehicle depends on the road it adopts the same colour that the road has.
Appreciating the students for achieving the medals, the principal expressed his views that their students were on the track of highlighting the image of the soil in the field of education, culture and wide spread of civilization and termed the achievements of the students among 99 countries, was great laurels for Pakistan. The students not only obtained gold medals for Pakistan in Georgia but also boosted dignitary of the country before other foreign students by retaliating them when some students asked some uncivilized questions about Pakistan.
One of the students Musa Ishaq also narrated the views he exchanged with other foreign students during his visit. He said that most of the foreigners were calling the Pakistani students with bad names like Taliban, etc. “They also passed comments on us that we belong to a country where corruption is rampant and all the people including the president are indulging in the crime,” Mr Musa recalled.
The student said that he also tried to answer their questions with patience and with solid arguments. “I told them that in Pashto language Taliban means students and we all are students but do not have anything with militancy,” he said. The student said that he had also fully defended his country and the rulers as corruption was everywhere across the world.
