Physics week was commenced at Pak-Turk International Schools and Colleges Peshawar in the month of October. The students and the teachers participated enthusiastically and ended up with great inventions and went into the depths of this wide and extensive subject.
Many quiz competitions were arranged between students of different classes and as usual the winners were awarded with prizes and certificates. Students sat together in groups and prepared research works regarding different topics.
The most interesting event of the week was the unique invention of Water Rocket and Mouse Trap Kart. These projects were made under the supervision of our highly competent physics team which included, Mr. Sebahattin, Mr. Jehangir and Mr. Burhan.
A competition was arranged regarding the best design and the best performance of the Kart and the Rocket. It was very astonishing to see a rocket reach a height of 100 m and kart move a distance of 30 m. Students were given prizes for their efforts.
The week ended up spreading vast knowledge to students and boosting their confidence. We could surely say that Pak-Turk students are second to none. Serhat Demir, Principal Pak-Turk Hayatabad Branch congratulated the students and appreciated their efforts. |
