Pak Turk International Schools & Colleges Lahore Gulberg and Islampura campuses held their 3rd Annual Night with a function at the Alhambra Hall where His Excellency Lt Gen (R) Khalid Maqbool, Governor Punjab was the Chief Guest. His Excellency Governor Punjab had just arrived from Turkey after an official visit, which His Excellency had conducted through Pak Turk ICEF’s invitation. His Excellency Governor Punjab gave his remarks about his recent visit to Turkey emphasizing the significance of the state-of-the-art educational institutions established by Pak Turk ICEF’s sister concerns in Turkey. Highlighting the value of such institutions in increasing the literacy rate of Turkey, he commended on Pak Turk ICEF’s forthcoming Lahore School Project as an essential step to contribute to the literacy in Punjab and also in Pakistan by means of the similar projects that the Foundation scheduled to initiate in the soonest. The end-of-year function brimmed with bliss and amusement through witty skits, songs of friendship and awarding successful teachers and students. Among the audience were also a 150-member delegation of philanthropists, journalists, businessmen and educationists from the Kimse Yok Mu Aid and Solidarity Association who travelled to Pakistan exclusively to participate the inauguration ceremony of the 10 state-of-the-art school buildings that were constructed by Kimse Yok Mu Association in collaboration with the Pak Turk ICEF in Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Mansehra. |
