Organizing and supervising In-Service Training (INSET) workshops is one of the foremost responsibilities of the Academic Support Units. Especially while initiating new-recruits into the Pak Turk Educational Institutions and offering refresher courses for the current teachers, INSET workshops are highly essential.
Basic functions of the INSET workshops at Pak Turk International Schools & Colleges are:-
- setting up and managing lesson and material
development sessions; refreshing and elaborating on teaching methodology
and practice;
- maintaining grounds for regular in-house teaching
development and assessment;
- preparing and assessing regular general
assessment tests for the students of the Pak Turk educational network as
well as for the gifted students of various governmental and private
schools in Pakistan;
- developing/adapting curriculum and syllabus
components to be taught from Pre School to Pre-University Level;
- developing strategies for the best implementation of educational technology across Pak Turk educational network in Pakistan.
