Proud to have completed yet another year in education, students of the
Islamabad Pak-Turk International Schools & Colleges exhibited their
science projects in a full-fledged Science Fair that was launched in
Fatima Jinnah Park, F-9 Islamabad. The 4th Pak-Turk Science Fair was inaugurated by Mr Asip Kaya, Charge d’Affaires, Turkish Embassy Islamabad. The function was graced by many select persona including Mr Kamran Lashari, Chairman CDA, Mr Syed Mustafain Kazmi, CDA Director of Sports and Culture, scientists from PIEAS and PAEC, educationists from various schools of Islamabad and Pakistan, as well as diplomats from various foreign missions in Islamabad. Mr Asip Kaya congratulated Pak-Turk educational institutions on holding a state-of-the-art Science Fair and wished the continuity of such educational activities for many years more. Visitors had a first-hand experience of how science is in the very core of our daily lives and they enjoyed various experiments performed by students in Practical Sciences and Social Sciences. The fair lasted for two days and attracted thousands of visitors from all walks of life. The Guest of Honour of the occasion, Mr Kamran Lashari visited each experiment stall and was briefed by students on various scientific experiments. Lashari congratulated the students who prepared the experiments after a painstaking period of time alongside the teachers and administrators of the school.
