Sponsors and Administrators of the Pak Turk ICEF called on His
Excellency Gen. Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of
Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Camp Office to brief His Excellency on Pak
Turk ICEF’s services for the nation of Pakistan during the last 12
years. The delegation comprised Pak Turk ICEF administrators Mr İsmail Nazlı, Chairman and Country Representative; Mr Fesih Celik, Managing Director and Mr Ramazan Arslan, Director Finance along with a group of Pak Turk ICEF sponsors and an exclusive TV crew from Turkish STV International Channel to cover the visit. Mr Ismail Nazli briefed His Excellency President on the overall activities of the Pak Turk ICEF in the last 12 years, with a special emphasis on the Foundation’s selfless efforts in the wake of the 8 October 2005 Earthquake by means of relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the social and educational aspects.
His Excellency Gen. Pervez Musharraf thanked the sponsors and the administrators of the Pak Turk ICEF for their selfless services for the people of Pakistan. His Excellency President emphasized the need of quality and modern education at the grassroots level across Pakistan and encouraged the sponsors to generously invest in the field of education as an effort for benefits to Pakistan’s bright future.
The meeting lasted for 60 minutes and ended with an exclusive interview given by His Excellency President of Pakistan for the Turkish public opinion through the STV International Channel.
